loved ones, laughter, delicious food, and the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ.<\/p><\/span><span><p class=\"p1\">For most children, Christmas is a season of togetherness, brimming with joy, abundance, and anticipation. However, for others, it&#8217;s merely another day of loneliness. This underscores the paramount importance of making this Christmas not only a celebration of hope and compassion, but also ensuring there&#8217;s enough to fill hungry tummies.<\/p><\/span><span><p class=\"p1\">It is an enormous task to meet the physical and emotional needs of the 170 children at the Abraham Kriel Children\u2019s Home Nylstroom. The majority of the children under our care were placed here due to neglect and\/or abuse. This is why providing a semblance of normality is incredibly important: sharing a wholesome meal with new brothers and sisters, unwrapping a gift, and, of course, enjoying some fun under the summer
