Maryka Oosthuizen, a former resident of the orphanage, has been selected as a finalist for the Star Status Season 4 competition. As one of her projects she had to organize a fundraiser for a charity, and without a doubt chose her children’s home, the Abraham Kriel Children’s Home Nylstroom. She decided on a beauty pageant that was successfully held in Pretoria. A check of R7 043,26 was handed over to us for which we are very grateful.
