Die inspirasie vir die funksie was vanjaar se talentaandtema: \u201cDie w\u00eareld is ons verhoog!\u201d Elke skoolverlater het \u0149 ander land verteenwoordig, en die onthaalruimte is soos \u0149 lughawe ingerig om die jongmense se simboliese reis na volwassenheid uit te beeld.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">Van vlaggies met leidrade wat aan toutjies opgehang is tot houtdeure wat spesiaal gebou moes word \u2013 elke detail het deeglike beplanning geverg. Met die hulp van Kobus Swanepoel, die eggenoot van een van die kinderhuis se huisouers, is daar selfs \u0149 vliegtuig vir die geleentheid gebou.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">Die skoolverlaters het in styl opgedaag en is met sang en groot opgewondenheid verwelkom. \u201cToe die seuns en meisies met die trappe opkom, kon \u0149 mens die gesamentlike \u2018WOW!\u2019 hoor. Dit was \u0149 oomblik waarop ons almal trots kon wees,\u201d vertel Annie.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">Nadat hulle hul instapkaartjies ontvang het, het hulle deur die vertrekhek na die vliegtuig beweeg.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">Ds. Wolhuter het die verrigtinge geopen, waarna Sonika Cornelius, Tshwantso Matshabi, Maria Venter en Charnel Oberholzer, almal maatskaplike werkers by die kinderhuis, bemoedigende boodskappe met die jongmense gedeel het.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">Die formele program het later plek gemaak vir musiek en dans, en personeellede het ook by die feestelikhede aangesluit het.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">Gerda van der Merwe, uitvoerende hoof van die kinderhuis, het die skoolverlaters sterkte toegewens met hul komende eindeksamens en hulle aangemoedig om die toekoms met moed en selfvertroue aan te pak.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">\u201cOns skoolverlaters staan nou op die drumpel van \u0149 nuwe lewensfase.
