During the June school holidays, children from Abraham Kriel Children’s Home Nylstroom visited Adventures with Elephants. The outing gave them an opportunity to experience nature in a new way and learn more about elephants, conservation and respect for the natural world.

Adventures with Elephants was established in 2010 and is run by the Hensman family, who have lived and worked with elephants since 1988.

During the visit, our children were able to see the elephants at close range and learn more about these remarkable animals, including their behaviour, intelligence and the important role they play in nature. It was a new experience for every child, and the day brought great excitement and many happy memories.

Adventures with Elephants aims to bring people closer to wildlife and foster greater awareness of nature conservation.

Abraham Kriel Children’s Home Nylstroom sincerely thanks Adventures with Elephants for their generosity and for giving our children the opportunity to visit the park free of charge. It was an unforgettable experience.
