Adopting a child

At Abraham Kriel, we frequently hear from caring members of the community who would like to adopt a child. Unfortunately, we are not authorised to help anyone in the process of adopting. As a children’s home, we are legally authorised only to care directly for the children entrusted to us – we cannot legally place a child in anyone else’s care. Should you wish to adopt, you can contact the National Adoption Coalition at 0800 864 658 or info@adoption.org.za. They will be able to give you a list of reputable social workers and adoption agencies.
