Our children’s home is in urgent need of nappies, toiletries, and sanitary products. Here’s a list of essential items we desperately need for our hygiene supplies:
- Body soap
- Body lotion
- Shampoo and conditioner
- Roll-on deodorant
- Toothpaste
- Sanitary pads for girls
- Baby nappies, sizes 5 and 6
- Vaseline
- Disposable razors
Product donations can be delivered directly to the children’s home at: 12 De Beer Street, Modimolle, 0510.

Top to toe
Hanno is ten and still full of cheer,
playful and daring, with never a fear.
Pulling pranks is what he loves best,
taking his chances and acing the test!
Bathtime once was a battle to fight,
his stinky feet quite a terrible sight.
But now he scrubs and won’t let go –
once he’s in, he won’t say no!
“A bar of soap every third night?
How is this possible?” Aunty Gerda cried.
“Why all the bubbles, the splashing, the fun?”
Naughty Hanno was charming someone…
A boy who smells fresh and clean all day
gets the girls to help right away!
Hanno had worked out the perfect plan –
Fragrant and charming, the girls’ favourite man,
They did all his homework, everything done:
And the man of the moment only had fun!
Every day, he scrubbed with pride,
till the soap supply ran dry inside…
But Lisa was sharp and gave him a chat,
“Hanno, my friend, you can’t do that!”
“Each new day we should face with pride,
not just smell fresh, but shine inside!”
Hanno thought and soon agreed –
his friends deserved fresh starts indeed.
Now our soap shelves are stocked once more,
and kids can laugh, run, and explore!
