    A child should not have to worry about the basics.

    Not about whether there will be milk tomorrow.

    Not about whether there will be soap in the bathroom.

    Not about whether there will be enough food for everyone.

    Yet these simple things have become a real challenge for us at Abraham Kriel Children’s Home Nylstroom.

    Our pantry and fridges are running low, and our soap and hygiene supplies are also running out. That is why we are asking for your help, so that the children in our care can continue to have the daily essentials they need to stay healthy, clean and cared for.

    We urgently need help to restock our supplies with food, hygiene products and other basic necessities.

    You can help us in one of three ways:

    1. Donate products:
        Pantry and fridges

      • Any meat, for example pork, chicken, beef, game or fish
      • Non-perishable food, such as tinned food, rice, pasta, cake flour and similar products
        Hygiene products

      • Bath soap, preferably not liquid soap
      • Toothpaste
      • Facecloths
      • Roll-on deodorant for boys and girls
      • Baby soap
      • Vaseline
      • Body lotion
    2. Donate directly via BackaBuddy.
    3. You can also donate directly into our bank account. This allows us to restock our pantry and fridges ourselves and replenish our hygiene supplies.
