It was a cold winter morning when the engines of 85 motorcyclists rumbled through the gates of Abraham Kriel Children’s Home Nylstroom! About 80 excited children’s faces cheered the riders loudly and warmly welcomed them.

After a short spiritual message, the motorcyclists at the Abraham Coffee House enjoyed a delicious breakfast. It was a reasonable consternation as we were expecting 100 guests and in the end 135 people showed up for breakfast. However, we were able to make plans and ensure that everyone was internally strengthened before embarking on the retreat again.

The orphanage is so grateful to the CMA group. The funds they have raised amount to R41470. This will be used to buy a birthday present for each child when they celebrate their birthday. We have 170 children in the orphanage and our budget focuses only on necessities and therefore does not include birthday gifts that are normally given in an ordinary family.
