Abraham Kriel Children’s Home Nylstroom’s first and primary priority is to meet the children’s physical needs. The unit cost per child amounts to R12 600 per month. This is calculated based on the total expenses of the children’s home divided by the number of children. Included in this are, among other things, food, clothing, toiletries, water and electricity consumption, medical and therapeutic care, transportation, maintenance and cleaning materials for buildings and grounds, and staff salaries.
