Our annual Abraham Kriel Children’s Home prize-giving on 24 October once again provided an opportunity for so many of our children to look forward to.

While prize-giving ceremonies occur at the schools our children attend, it’s equally important for us to recognize and honour them within our home. Unlike children from stable households, some of our children have faced circumstances leaving them with physical and emotional scars. In some cases, these circumstances also have an impact on how they perform at school.

For this reason, it’s crucial for us to acknowledge our children within our home environment as well. We reward them not only for academic achievements but also for their personal and emotional growth, as well as their successful development of life skills.

It is a distinct privilege for us to accompany these children year after year on their journey. We can only do this with the help of our loyal donors who assist us financially to help and encourage our children to reach their full potential.
