With great joy, but also with a touch of bittersweet nostalgia, we report on our recent school leaver function which was held on 18 October at the beautiful Tsekama Wedding Venue. This special event was an important milestone in the lives of our twelve matrics. It filled our hearts with pride and admiration as we witnessed these young people embrace their newfound independence and set forth into the next chapter of their lives. Festively dressed, full of confidence and grace, they radiated an undeniable readiness to take on the world.

Over the years, we have not only met the basic needs of these children, but also developed their talents and skills, and equipped them with the tools needed to thrive in society. We can look back with satisfaction, knowing that we played a part in their growth and development, paving the way for a promising future. With mixed emotions, we observed them as they walked through the halls of the home we’ve provided for them over the past few years, one last time. We will miss their presence and no doubt remember their laughter and unique spirit that enriched our lives. However, there is comfort in knowing that our efforts have prepared them well for the challenges ahead.

Each of our school leavers has a unique set of skills, dreams and aspirations. Some may get further training or go on to study at tertiary institutions. Others may undertake vocational training or seek employment opportunities. Whatever path they choose, they are armed with resilience, determination and the unwavering support of our extended family – you, our dedicated supporters. We would like to express our sincere thanks to each of you for your dedication and generosity. Your continued support made it possible for us to create a nurturing environment where these children could thrive and grow into confident, capable young adults. As we bid farewell to our school leavers, we also extend an invitation to everyone to join us in celebrating their achievements. Your contributions made a lasting impact on their lives.

As our children now embark on their journey of life, we encourage you to keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
