Abraham Kriel Children’s Home Nylstroom is proud to announce that we have been nominated as a finalist in Ontbytsake’s Business of the Year competition. The prestigious event was held on 23 October 2025 at the historic Nederburg Wine Estate in Paarl. Although the children’s home did not walk away as the winner, the nomination gives special recognition to our ongoing commitment to the care and development of the 170 children who are in our care every day.

The accommodation of our delegates, CEO Gerda van der Merwe and Marketing Officer Marlene de Villiers, was sponsored by Babylonstoren. “Our hearts are filled with gratitude to Dalene and her outstanding team who sponsored our stay. You truly spoilt us,” says Marlene.
