On 1 April, the Abraham Kriel Children’s Home Nylstroom hosted its annual Passion Play at the children’s home. At sunset in Nylstroom, a hush and sense of anticipation fell over the crowd as the Easter story unfolded.

With great dedication, our children and staff brought each scene to life on stage, drawing the audience into the story in a meaningful way. The portrayal of Jesus’s time with his disciples, the Last Supper, Judas’s betrayal, and Jesus’s eventual arrest made a deep emotional impact. The scenes depicting his journey to the crucifixion held the audience in silence and reminded them once again of the depth of God’s love and sacrifice.

This year’s Passion Play, as in years before, was far more than just a performance – it was a moving expression of faith that brought the message of Easter to life once again in the hearts of all who attended.
