Abraham Kriel children take part in Bootslingers’ dance event
On 8 March 2025, the Bootslingers hosted a lively dance event, bringing together various dance groups from Naboomspruit, Bela-Bela, and Pretoria. Some of the Abraham Kriel children also had the opportunity to take part – an experience they will remember for a long time.
Corné Jansen van Vuuren, who works in the children’s home clothing store, has a deep love for line dancing and shares her passion with around 25 children who join her class every week. It was a great privilege for her to take some of them along to this special event.
Thanks to a generous donor, each child’s entrance fee was covered, and from early morning until late afternoon, the dance floor was alive with energy.
“The children absolutely loved dancing with such a big group and learning new dance moves. It was an honour for me to introduce our children to other groups and to showcase how hard they practise and how much joy dancing brings them,” says Corné.
The children train every week, and this dance event was not only a fun opportunity but also a way to recognise their dedication and hard work.
