Sanet graduated!
Today we celebrate the inspiring success story of Sanet Basson, a former Abraham Kriel child.
In March 2017, Sanet’s life changed dramatically when she was taken into our care. Little did she know that another major life-changing event awaited her: a brachial cyst. At the time, Sanet did not have access to help at a state hospital and had to wait until her matric year in 2020 to receive the necessary medical care – thanks to Jacaranda FM’s Good Morning Angels and Operation Healing Hands.
This marked the beginning of a new chapter in Sanet’s life. Not only did she pass matric with flying colours and gain admission to university – but thanks to media coverage of her story, she also received a private bursary to continue her studies.
Sanet received her teaching degree from the University of Pretoria this May!
